• Bill Kanengiser—Is there anybody who has ever listened to classical guitar music who hasn't been captivated by Bill's virtuosity and musical sensitivity?  This guy is a music wonder.
  
• Terry Graves—Terry was a dear friend, a gifted guitarist and teacher and an early member of the world-renowned Falla Trio.
  
• Kenton Youngstrom—Kenton is without doubt the premier jazz guitarist today on a classical guitar.  But he's a fabulous classical guitarist as well.  How's that for multi-task talent.
  
• Marcos Diaz—Marcos, who hails from Galicia in Spain, has earned an international reputation as a recitalist and recording artist with music from Bach to contemporary Spanish.
  
• Scott Tennant—When you watch and hear Scott play the guitar, he makes it look so easy that you might be tempted to think, "Maybe I could do that."  No, only Scott can do that.
  
• Doug Niedt—Doug is one of the most gifted guitar virtuosos of our time.  He's also nearby (professor of guitar, Kansas City Conservatory) and has helped my luthiery career in many ways.
  
• Pat Dixon—Pat is an outstanding guitar soloist, duo-ist (with Jeffrey Van) and a most gifted teacher.  She has more devoted, grateful former students than anyone I know.
