Most of the bending tasks get done on this side bending machine I made.
My machine is a modified version of the one invented by my friend and fellow guitar
maker Charles Fox. In this picture I'm inserting a side between two stainless steel
plates preheated by three 200W light bulbs. After the side is inserted and bent, it
is heated for fifteen minutes to make the bend permanent.
After cooling, the bent side is removed from the bender.
